About Team Opportunity
Team Opportunity is calling adventure seekers to participate in extraordinary running, climbing, and hiking events worldwide. Opportunity International’s endurance challenge program is designed to connect passion with action. We want you to join us in epic challenges that will build awareness of global poverty and the power we each have to be a solution; raise money for Opportunity's mission; and offer a life-changing experience for you in the process. Even better—your efforts will help power incredible transformation for women living in extreme poverty in Malawi. Whether you’re an accomplished athlete or just getting started, our team provides the resources and support to help you achieve your training and fundraising goals—let’s do this!
Team Opportunity does not currently have any endurance challenges scheduled for 2026. If you'd like to be informed for future challenge, please let us know at this form. In the meantime, you can complete your own endurance challenge for Opportunity by starting your own fundraiser!

Start an Online Fundraiser
Already participating in a marathon/endurance challenge or not ready to take on a Team Opportunity challenge, but still want to use your passion and creativity to raise money for Opportunity’s clients? You can now start an online fundraiser by doing something you love to do and supporting Opportunity’s mission at the same time in just 4 easy steps:
1. Choose Your Activity: Pick a milestone like a birthday or anniversary to celebrate, or you can do anything you love like walk in a race, go on a bike ride, or paint a masterpiece!
2. Set Up Your Fundraiser: Create a fundraising page on opportunity.org/fundraiser.
3. Spread the Word: Share your page with friends, family, and colleagues. We give you templates for texting, emailing, and posting on social media to make your fundraising easy.
4. Have Fun & Make an Impact: Enjoy your activity and know that every dollar raised helps in the fight against global poverty.
